And yet it’s the first he’s mentioned it.
Iran practices radical Islam jihad and needs to be kept from a nuke.
Is that how Iran got to Carnegie Hall?
Whose turn is it to explain the Sunni/Shi’a divide to DerekMichaels00 this time? I lost my copy of the roster.
Which is what the deal accomplished. You may crawl out from under your bed now.
And right now, Trump is the greater danger with nukes.
No, the nation that’s the equivalent of 1938 Germany is the US.
At this point, pretty much every nation on earth should be given nuclear weapons, and point them at the US. America is the enemy of everyone.
Yours. On the basis you were the one who failed to explain it to him adequately last time. Totally your fault.
Sorry. Gave it the ol’ college try, but twelve years is about all I can take. Best of luck.

Just call Obama a subhuman spear-chucker already. Tell us how you want that half-breed strung up, and all that stuff.
Get it out. He’s gone now, and he can’t hurt you.
Grrrr. Okay.
See, DerekMichaels00, although Iran and ISIS/al-Qaeda jihadi types both self-identify as Muslim, they don’t actually get along very well, any more than Protestants and Catholics did during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, even though they both self-identified as Christian.
In fact, due to centuries-old theological disputes and more recent geopolitical issues, the radical-Sunni jihadis do not like the mostly-Shi’a Iranians one little bit. As a report from Freedom House on the radical Wahhabi/Salafist Sunni curriculum of Saudi Arabia stated,
Now, Iran definitely has its own geopolitical aims for expanding its influence in the region, and is involved in a lot of violence in pursuit of its aims. But it is emphatically not part of the Salafi-Sunni movement of “radical Islamist jihad”. In fact, Iran is a declared target of Sunni jihadis due to its non-Sunni population and its constant clashes with the jihadi groups in order to expand its own influence.
My emphasis.
Isn’t this what Rump did? Say weak and do nothing?
Okay, Blinkyandpinky, let’s try this out:
“I’M PUTTING YOU ON NOTICE!”
And just like you, I don’t have the slightest idea what that means. See how that works?
Dopers: didn’t some other Trump staffer recently “put on notice” some European country? I think it was a woman. Anyone remember?
You might want to use smaller words for Derek (and our newer arrival Blinky).
This move looks like the diplomatic equivalent of Dad yelling “I’m turning this car around!” I imagine that if/when Iran does anything that even remotely annoys Trump American missiles will start flying into Tehran and Trump will say “I told you so.”
If the Iranians really wanted to protect themselves they’d get some business going with The Donald. Trump Towers Tehran? Much better protection than a nuke!
We’re mocking Flynn on his silly “on notice” statement. No big deal.
Serious question: was there some sort of agreement between Iran and the US that Iran would not test any missiles?
Warning of what, specifically?
Also, if Iran continues to test missiles, this clearly was not in fact a “strong and good action”, right?
oh how criminal to not illegally sieze what was the Iranian money anyway.
The Yosemite Sam as Pirate trantrum
Interesting. The missile test was apparently sanctioned under a UN Resolution, so apparently the UN is good for something in the Trump White House…
I was also taken by this note in the CNN report: http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/01/politics/michael-flynn-condemns-iran-actions/
Hope their course isn’t close to the Tonkin Gulf…
Thrill a minute with the Donald.
