I’m a little surprised they let women be police in Iran.
If I understand it correctly, as long as the “chastity/modesty” restrictions are observed, the Iranian “revolutionary” brand of Shi’a fundamentalism has tended to give women a lot more latitude than the Saudi-based Wahabbi fundamentalism.
Yeah, I thought it was a bit showoffy to do the “leaning-out-the-car-shooting” chase scene, but hey, it was academy graduation, it’s where you show off skills you will never again use .
Actually it’s not surprising that Iran has policewomen, but the extent of their duties. Do Iranian policewomen fill the same roles as their male counterparts or are they limited to being matrons and serving on the vice squad?
