Iraq Occupation Deaths?

How many US and British troops have been killed in Iraq since the “end” of the war?

Nine Americans have died since Bush said the “War” was over.

Now 10.

I appreciate your efforts Reeder, but it looks like you missed a few.

From NPR.

"June 9, 2003

Gunmen pretending to seek emergency medical care kill an American soldier in western Iraq. The death marks the 29th U.S. military fatality in Iraq since President Bush declared an end to hostilities on May 1. "

I’d still like to know if anyone has information on British deaths in the same period.

This site provides a detailed list of UK casualties in Operation Telic (last updated 4th. June).

Since May 1st. there have been 4 fatalities (2 from natural causes, 1 in a traffic accident, and 1 from an unspecified accident).

None from enemy action.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I found the site while looking for something else and remembered your query.

Shelbo…That includes deaths from all causes. I was only counting combat deaths.

Can someone find out how many Iraqi fatalities there have been since the supposed end of hostilities? These things go both ways.
