yeah. Why would a country need to have jails and prisons open? Must be evil. I can’t believe that the Us would open a prison. If prisons are such a good idea, why don’t we have them here?

They have many camps for prisoners. They seem to be working nicely. The prison was opened, IMHO, just for intimidation.

Camps don’t seem to be a workable, long term proposition.
The United States has the worlds largest prison population: over 2 million, IIRC. It’s one of our main growth industries. No reason why it wouldn’t expand into new territory. Want to bet there’s some US company who contributed heavily to Bush involved?
