I had to wonder, after seeing this custom license plate holder:
To bad stupidity isn’t painfull
Maybe the driver is a masochist.
Well, given the fact that everybody is, at some time or another, stupid, I would say, clueless.
Now, chronic stupidity, that is painful, for those around the person exhibiting it.
I’ll vote for clueless; the irony of the misspelling really wouldn’t be all that funny.
Of course, it’s kind of an accidentally ironic cluelessness on top of that, since the point of the sticker (assuming, again, that the intention was clueless and not ironic) was to assert the driver’s intellectual superiority.
