According to CNN’s latest report, McCain is ahead by about 4000 votes in MO and Obama by about 14,000 votes in NC. Normally, races this close (especially MO) wouild occasion recounts. But the results are really irrelevant (unless you want a free trip to Jefferson City, MO or to Raleigh, NC) so will they just ignore the closeness and declare the results final or will they go to the expense of recounting?
Possibly. But some states have laws requiring recounts if the margin of victory is under a certain percentage.
