"IRS-Gate" - JUMP ON IT, DOPERS!

I’m wondiering you seem to believe that your only reasonable contribution to this board is to be as obnoxious as possible. These are real people here; why don’t you treat them as such?

I don’t know- I doubt there is a single group with “Patriot” in the name that isn’t a bunch of right wing whackadoodles.

Sure looks like the Pubbies are trying to ski down Mount Molehill again. An independent organization headed by a Bush appointee decides that groups that hate taxes should get special scrutiny when trying to get tax-exempt status. The Bush appointee is already gone, and of course they can’t take action on the one that Obama nomintated to replace him because, well you just don’t take action on Obama nominees. But somehow this is Great Obama Scandal Number 673. Wake me up when they find mud that actually sticks to the wall.

What happened to Habakkuk’s one and two?

I do remember, when I worked for a 501(c)(3) organization, reading the IRS documents with the following section:

Nitpicking joke: most Tea Party groups are 501(c)(4)s.

Maybe they melted.

Investigated by the IRS?

were amply covered by the Qumran Community’s “Commentary of Habakkuk”

which fully covered chapters 1 and 2 of Habakkuk

Chapter three - a Psalm as opposed to the PROPHETIC ORACULAR styles of 1-2

was not mentioned in any way in the commentary found in the Dead Sea Scrolls

in 1999, when I first got on the internet to argue stuff, I took the name Habakkuk3 because of that last un-commented-upon chapter

so yes - now let them pile on “shame on Habakkuk3 for bringing disgrace on Christians/Jews”

blah blah blah etc etc

if anyone doubts my scholarship, let his tongue cleave to the roof of his mouth and let his house become an dunghill

I’m sorry, this is abuse. Arguments are down the hall.

Aaaaand here comes the crazy meltdown.

What was the over/under on this guy, anyway?

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Ten minutes.

Huh. They must have the same boilerplate text in both sections of the law.

What’s Hebrew for “sycophant”?

Phyllis Stein

I too agree that the IRS should break laws to go after people with a different opinion than mine.

They’re already swamped, and now you want them to investigate everyone who doesn’t think dog turds are delicious?

OK, I’m here now. Did I jump on this quickly enough?

Wait, how does this work anyway? I’m pretty sure my tongue isn’t directly attached to the roof of my mouth.

The term “cleave” in biblical reference means “to fuck”, as in a husband shall “cleave unto his wife”. It is unclear whether or not the wife also cleaves unto, as it may take only the active tense, in that only the man can be the “cleaver”. If he is of a totally weird and strange nature, he is referred to as an “eldritch cleaver”.

IRS gate is pretty awful in my book, but I don’t think it really had much to do with the administration. Regardless, not good.

As far as being comparable to Watergate, I don’t think it is close to comparable. I don’t even think it rises to the level of the previous administration purging the US attorney’s office of prosecutors for not going after Democrats and only giving jobs to conservatives that were willing to harass them.

I could list other government scandals that I think were worse, both by Democrats and Republicans, but it would not really matter as the OP is only interested in smearing Obama and stopping Hitlery from getting elected.
