I am in a Tax Research class and I need to prepare an IRS ruling request. I don’t need help so much with the subject matter as far as regulations and such, but I do need help with the format. I have read the IRS example it gives in it’s procedures but it is of little help.
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with an actual example of an IRS Ruling Request (or a private letter ruling request it might also be reffered to). If anyone could help me out by directing me to a website with an example or e-mailing or faxing me an example I would be forever in your debt.
