Is a bottle of wine per night gonna destroy my liver?

:stuck_out_tongue:

Is alcohol dangerous for zombies?

Actually binge drinking is 4 at a sitting for women and 5 at a sitting for men. So saving up 1-2 drinks per day for the weekends might not be such a hot idea.

I’m still alive.

How’s the 401K working out?

Cite?

Did you drink any wine since you last posted?

Says the twice reanimated zombie.

Run! Zombie Eddie Vedder!

So, we’ve discovered that a bottle of wine every day guarantees you’ll rise in gruesome shambling undeath once you kick the bucket.

Yet another reason why I like Scotch better.

You just hit the nail in the head bud. I’m full circle and got back into drinking wine, although quality is important, I find some days you can release and other days you can drink wine for the antioxidants which is for my other condition. Lets stay connected.

Work is the curse of the drinking zombies.

To heck with the 401K. How’s the liver working out?

This is just one study, but maybe, at least to an extent:

I drink maybe 30% less than last year (maybe 13 units/week, though I tend to save it up for the weekend), but I also take acetylcysteine supplements pretty regularly.

This is the only place I have seen this exact question addressed. Let’s say you start drinking at 6PM, go to bed a 9, that is a bottle in 3 hours, you will be quite buzzed, probably pass out each night. I think it’s too much, and it will cost you about $300 per month

According to his profile, Quintas is STILL extant, though deep into his zombiehood. Do zombies need livers? I think not.

Sorry if I stole your “I’m still alive” thunder.

Every time you fill out a form in a doctor’s office they ask if the patient drinks alcohol, how much and how often. Doctor’s are asking that question because consuming alcohol isn’t a good thing. I know that socially it seems to be acceptable to do so, but that doesn’t make it a healthy choice.

Switch to grape juice for a month. If you still can’t do without it, then you need professional help. Not what you wanted to hear, but I’m more concerned about your health than trying to help you find a way to sugar coat it that your consumption of alcohol is a good thing.

I am in awe over how many times this has come back to life.

Maybe if you live somewhere where wine is outrageously expensive, such as the United States. In much of Europe you could drown your liver in very decent wine for only $60 per month. If you’re not choosy you could probably bring that down to $35. (Plenty of obscure wines of variable quality can be found on sale for €1 a bottle.)

But that’s like an extra meal every night, so the I don’t expect yu’ve hit peak weight yet.
