I get my free Amazon shipping in a few days when what I want is in stock. Have you checked to see the availablity? It will say something like “This item is usually available in X days/weeks/etc…”
There’s definitely an option for “send me the stuff as it becomes available,” that also works with the Super Saver option; I ordered a bunch of stuff that had a couple items on backorder, and it’s been coming to me piecemeal as the things get in stock. And I haven’t paid a penny for shipping.
Go back into your order and revise the shipping options. I’ll bet you can get the rest of the stuff quickly if you do.

The last mod who moved one of my threads was Manhattan.
And you know what happened to him.
Wait a minute, you told me he went to live on a farm in the country.
I had the same thing happen when i pre-ordered a DVD what was about to be released. Once the relase day came and went i went to see when to expect my DVD. it was 2 weeks AFTER it had released. Even though I had prepaid. When i bitched the guy said it was because I chose free shipping. He also said they just delay the processing of the orders, they will pull them so they can fill them but they won’t ship until later because you didn’t pay for shipping.
It irritates me to a ridiculous extent. I mean they have it, they can box it, they just choose to sit on it because you opt to not pay extra… LAME.
Well, someone heard him say, “I’m the fucking Hall Monitor” and thought he said, “I’m the fucking Ham Monitor” so offered him a job raising pigs.
I only hope I go the same way.
I just discovered that Amazon lists a “2 to 3 weeks” shipping time on a book that was never actually published. I wonder how long ordering that would delay your order?

PS: The Name of This Band is Talking Heads is over-rated. The second (1980-81) disc is, anyway. The first (1978-79) disc is pretty damn good. I guess I like the sparer arrangements.
