Is anyone actually running out of gmail space?

This would have made an epic screenshot. :frowning:

I’ve had my account since 2006, and I was up to about 76%–I send a lot of fairly large files to coworkers and printers and such. But I went through and started cleaning stuff out a while ago, which got me down to 6%.

68 MBs (0%)…and I’ve been using it for 4 years!

What I want to know is why does it keep increasing? Like, every half-second on the Gmail login page the ticker for total storage space increases 0.000004-0.000005 MB. That’s ~30 KB of storage an hour being added. It blows my mind.

I’m at 18%.

Obviously Google is tapping into space in an alternate universe. Of course it’s only a matter of time before a Hard One figures this out.

I bought 20 extra gig from Google via Picasaweb, which shares space with my Gmail account - my photos and videos expand into Gmail storage, or email can expand into the photo storage. It costs $5 a year. Clever Google.

10%, and I get a fair number of not-excessively large attachments too. I still save them to the hard drive and then delete the email the vast majority of the time. Old habits die hard, I suppose.

70% here

11%

Yup, me too. It does seem like a pretty good deal actually.
I wanted to consolidate my photos (which I haven’t started doing yet!) and I sorta like picasaweb.

so now, I’m at:
1.1 GB (3%) of 27.3 GB

3% and I’ve had my account for a couple years…maybe several? Time flies.

But the idea of mailing myself files to back up my photos does sound interesting.
