Is anyone else annoyed by the word "veggies"?

Here’s a thread from a year ago about terms like “veggies” that piss some people off. “Veggies” took a beating in that thread. The OP will approve.

Note: In my list, I have the actual name of the product, plus the alternate name, both separated by a slash (/), and the bolded name being the one I hate. I have a couple: Plush/Stuffed animal - What if it’s not an animal? Is it a stuffed human? Is it a stuffed whale? Tissue/Kleenex - What if the brand isn’t Kleenex? Occasionally there are phrases and/or terms that make their way into conversational vogue among journalists and others that just rub me the wrong way. Sometimes it’s because they’re pretentious, others because they’re factually wrong, and others because they’re just ignorant. The one that’s been getting me lately is the use of “countless” as a shorthand for a large number.
