Is Black & White whisky available in the U.S.?

The title is the question.

Yep. Goes for about $24/bottle. Black & White is a Diageo whisky, and they sell freaking everywhere.

Thanks. I’ll have to go to a liquor store when one is open to see if they have any. (One problem with state-run stores is that there’s not much competition to stock different things.)

Johnny L.A., is the “NoWa” of your location Washington state? The Washington State Liquor Control Board keeps their store inventories online and public, so you can just check the brand list instead of heading down to the store.

Yes, I relocated here from L.A. in 2003.

I don’t see Black & White on the list. It’s possible that they have it at the Duty Free store on the Canadian side. I’ll have to try to remember to stop there next time I go to Vancouver. (Or else stock up if I ever make a road trip to California.)

You watched Father Goose on TMC last week, didn’t you?

You must be psychotic! I mean psychic! (Actually, I just got round to watching it today. It’s one of my faves.)

Sorry, I didn’t look very closely at what result I had up when I copied the address: that link is only the “on sale” (discounted) list for the month. Hit new search and just type in “black” and Black & White will show up.

And there it is. Unfortunately when I click ‘find store’ I get:

Heh - my dad used to drink B&W. But then, I think everyone’s dad used to drink B&W.

How would you describe the taste of Black & White? I’ve not heard of it…
