Doc Jackson brought Sha’uri back from the dead in Stargate without complication. She didn’t even have time to get zombified.
(Well, given that it was an analogue of Egypt, she’d’ve been a mummy, not a zombie, but still.)

My Boyfriend’s Back and Idle Hands are comedies with ‘zombies’ that come back and fit in passably well with society.
Willow, Xander et al brought Buffy Summers back from the dead. The jury is split as to whether or not this was a good idea though.
What movie is this from?
IIRC, it’s from Return of the Living Dead or one of its sequels, like Return of the Living Dead II (One of the most ridiculously redundant movie titles I’ve ever encountered).
It seemed to work out just fine in Superman: he got to marry her in the sequel!
And Buffy seemed to adjust nicely.
Does Kira’s resurrection at the end of The Dark Crystal count? Or do you suppose she became an evil brainsucking gelf-puppet?
The first time Buffy was brought from the dead it was a good thing, tho it was a CPR situation and it is arguable whether whe was dead dead. (tho dead enough to trigger another Slayer)
The second time she was dead dead, and it probably was a good idea long term, but short term there were definitely problems.
Brian
Hercules pulled it off in the Disney film. And everything works out OK in a Disney film.
This was what I came in to mention.
I figured that was a given.
name a single gelf-puppet that wasn’t evil and brain sucking.
It’s from the first ROTLD.
