Is CNN Running Out of Teens?

The following separate headlines are on CNN’s news page right now:

Teens Killed when SUV Flips into Pond

Teens Killed after SUV Flips into Pond

Teen Tragedy: 5 Die in Fiery Texas Crash

A video link: 5 Teens Die in Fiery Crash

Most popular story right now: 5 Teens Die in Fiery Collision with Truck

And yesterday the leading headline was about SIX Teens dying.

That’s horrible…are there any teenagers left?

I hope so. We need them to grow up and pay Social Security.

2 teens escaped the “Submarine Warren, OH”, 6 did not.

I don’t want to see a video of 5 teens dying in a fiery crash. :frowning:

I think teenagers need to avoid SUVs for a few weeks until this stops.

And CNN, for that matter.

Especially since it was just down the road from me. :frowning:

I hate video links too. Just let me READ how they died in a fiery crash, dammit.

I imagine the actual crash wasn’t filmed (at least, I hope it wasn’t, though that’s what it sounds like from CNN’s description.) But I don’t think I’d want to watch the video anyway.

I haven’t watched it in weeks. Have they stopped the nonstop raging about deadly killer murderguns that spray thousands of rounds per second from the hip yet?

God yes. When did this moronic trend for every snippet of news on the web to come in video format come about, and more importantly why? I want to read a news story at my own pace (which is probably a hell of a lot faster than the simpleton reading an Autocue), and I want to be able to glance at it while I’m doing something else, not wait for a video to load, wait to skip past the inevitable ad for debt relief or painkillers, then turn the sound up on my PC (not usually desirable if you share an office).

We can READ. Idiots.

Congratulations. You just fought your own ignorance. :stuck_out_tongue:

When they put it in video form, if you want to see it, you have no choice but to look at the ad that will inevitably play first, you cannot ignore it like an ad on a web page.
