Not at all. Trump is a successful and smart business man and this is what our country needs now more than ever. He is frustrated with Obama’s inexperience to lead and manage budgets, lies and the left wing liberal media. Thus, Americans are not getting the true information about how serious the debt issue is, let alone Libya, etc.
The birth certificate should have never been an issue. Why? Along with signatures to be on the ballot, candidates for the office of president should also submit their birth certificate. This is why Arnie S. cannot run for president - thank God, as he was not born in the US. It is a federal law so enforce it. Furthermore, Obama could have killed the issue years ago if he just submitted his birth certificate. His tardiness naturally raises legitimate questions. We need, and should supply our id to vote so let the candidates prove their birth.
At least we have one celebrity who shows the other side of the coin so Trump is due respect. Someone has to battle the liberal medial infatuated with the messiah.
Barack Obama released his birth certificate in June 2008, long before Donald Trump was talking about it. Not only did it not kill the issue, it’s arguable that it inflamed the birthers.
Even Screaming (Severe Conservative) Sally from the youtubes thinks birthers are stupid and wasted their time chasing down that rabbit hole when they could have been liking and forwarding her missives. When you’re dumber than Screaming Sally, that’s saying something.
Trump is a failure as a businessman, but he is a success as a performer. He’s basically a professional celebrity and public persona, almost like a Hollywood actor.

spmsteve, I’m a Conservative as well, but Trump (and Coulter, the cheerleaders at Fox News, idiots like Mourdock, Rove and the “old guard” rich white males) have completely effed up the Republican brand and are why Romney lost. Until they’re gone and the Republican party starts making sense, they’ll never, ever win another election.
I don’t know what to make of Trump, it does seem like an act. However I can see why someone with immense wealth, might also like a bit of fame to satisfy their ego, but does he really want to be known a trashy celebrity/self-serving right-wing agitprop-merchant?

My cousin is related to a very wealthy local businessman who acts just like Donald Trump. As the years have passed, he’s gotten more and more bombastic. He’ll sit and talk on and on about politics in the middle of a wedding or Easter celebration, oblivious and/or not caring that he’s being inappropriate and spoiling the festive mood. It’s gotten so bad that many people, including me, simply leave the room when he enters because he’s insufferable.
I think it’s a result of being very wealthy, untouchable (since you won’t fire yourself) and being surrounded by ass kissers.
I’m not married to either party but I’ve been voting Democratic for a while now. I honestly believe there are a LOT of people like me who don’t feel a strong party affiliation and would be happy to vote for a Republican if more folks like you would take back the party and get it back on a sane track. I applaud your effort.
Maybe it’s personal. At last year’s White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner, Obama eviscerated “The Donald” publicly. Made a laughing stock out of him.
