I like the coverage but it seems now all it is, is speculation and repetitivness.
Everyone has a story to tell and some are fascinating. But now they are to the point one guy said he was on the third floor of the south tower when the first one got hit so he quickly ran out.
It was the third floor! I mean OK I probably would’ve been stupid enuff to stay and get myself killed but you get my point.
I wake up and the NYC mayor is saying how the press is inaccurately reporting people are alive.
I can see in NYC keeping the news coverage 24 hours but here it seems they are down to what if or this could’ve been or we should’ve…
That isn’t news. I would appreciate maybe 1/2 hour updates or I saw a rerun of Frontline from the first bombing that was backround on Bin Laden.
When the press first started they said 50,000 people were in the towers working and most would have died. By the end of the day it was 20,000. Then it was 4,000. Now it is 3,000. I mean even 1 dead is one too many but those facts aren’t information, they are guesses.
Like I said reporting on how NYC people should keep their a/c’s off etc is GOOD for people of NYC but it is local stuff.
I at least would like to see reports on what will happen 2 or 3 weeks from now to our economy. What is going on in relation to this in other countries.
I have heard reports of Palastinians crying an weeping and expressing sorrow yet I’ve only seen the celebrating. Why is it I can turn on the TV for an hour and see this but not the weeping. If I am missing this why am I seeing the celebrating? Is it luck that I turn on the TV at that point?
Everything seems to hinge on no one wants to be the first to quit.
