Is everybody the hero of their story?

I’m the wise cracking side kick that ends up being shot.

People are tragic heroes, villains and are getting shot here. Apparently everyone would be better off as supporting cast in my life. Then again, I guess you already are

Absolutely !!! The great Mom-Lady!! Faster than a speeding 12 year old! Stronger than a school-yard bully! Able to quell bed-time bickering with a single look!!! Da-ta-ta-DAA!! MOM-LADY!!!

I’m a run-of-the-mill extra, shoved into the background so it won’t look too empty.

it depends on the story.

In a teen romance movie, I’m usually one of the kids that the stars walk past and no matter how unpopular they are, they still don’t talk to me.

In fact the only time I’m the hero is when I score the winning touchdown and then I do a little dance that becomes the new macarana(sp?)

God is the hero of my story. I’d be dead (literally) without Him.

I’m more like the Greek Chorus.

Ugh, I’m the maid, with a bit part.

Yes, I suppose I am. (And for whatever its worth, Optihut, I do occasionally view my life much in the style you describe.) I don’t really cast my friends as supporting types, though, I think of it as an ensemble comedy with dramatic undertones (i.e., the world). I’m an off-beat lead, since I provide my own comic relief, but that’s the way it goes.

Key grip, here.
