The highlights for next week’s season ending show declared that two heroes would die.
This doesn’t mean that much anymore since they discovered the magic properties of Claire’s Miracle Gro, but it offers an opportunity.
Which of the characters would you like to see die, as in not come back. Vote for as many as you want.

Yes, I know he doesn’t formally have a power. But I think he really generates stupid waves by the power of his idiocy. That’s what infected Mohinder and Peter and Maya and, well, just about everybody we’ve seen who isn’t a sadistic sociopath.
Sylar was the big bad last season. Why is he in this season? He doesn’t add anything. I’d like to see him go away–honestly I just can’t stand the character–but I don’t think he will.
Maya, The Stupid, it hurts. She’s killed so many people and was even responsible for her brother’s eventual death. IMO, she’s irredeemable. She can go. But Sylar can’t get her powers because then he’d be way too powerful.
Sylar - As great as the actor is at being creepy, I just can’t see how they can keep him going indefinitely. I wouldn’t be sad to see him go because I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of the eyebrows … I mean the actor.
Bob - I think Elle will somehow be his downfall, I don’t think there’s enough time for this to happen in what’s left of the season.
Elle - See above.
Mama P - No way. I don’t know why but I like her.
Monica’s little brother - He doesn’t have to die, maybe just get sent off to juvie for a long time.
You forgot Niki. Although it seems kind of mean to orphan a kid, I think he’ll be just fine with his new family. So Niki can go bye-bye, perhaps she’ll die saving Monica (who also caught The Stupid).
Monica - Can she be saved from The Stupid? Why the hell didn’t she go out the way she came in? Eh, not enough to deserve to die … yet.
So I guess my votes are for Maya and Niki, with a side order of Sylar.
Okay, my girlfriend watched the last couple episodes and wanted to watch the rest, so she got the DVDs from her brother. I got roped into watching it.
I’m not getting the allure of the show. It seems to rely way too much on coincidence. I think it introduces way too many heroes into the mix as well.
Sylar is supposed to be a badass, but I was also roped into watching Monday’s episode as well. He’s pretty much useless now, at least as far as I can tell.
Also, Elle is mighty fine, and for that reason, she should stay.
It’s clear that I don’t know what I’m talking about and that I’m not nearly educated enough in the show, but I just wanted to contribute because I never watch the same shows you guys do.
This is an easy one for me. Sylar is too damn powerful and Niki can also go. I give Maya and Monica passes because they are new. Also, I find the potential for their powers entertaining despite the current level of execution.
Yeh, there’s a lot of convenient path-crossing in this show. It becomes easier to swallow when you learn that all the characters are tied to everyone else one way or another (due to the fact that most of the Heroes on the show are offspring of the “evil agency” that started this whole mess).
Anyway, like LOST, while popular, it’s not for everyone… but a good time nonetheless.
And Sylar. They beat him hard with the nerf bat, and he’s pretty much just dull at this point. (Smartest guy in that storyline, though, and how sad is that?)
Maya needs to die. She either uses her power and you die, or she controls her power and you don’t. Pretty uninteresting. I hope she dies before Sylar figures out how to take her power or, Sylar kills her and uses his innate “fix it” ability to use it in ways she can’t, like maybe using it to counter-act other “plagues” like the virus Adam is bent on releasing. Sylar’s evil, but he wants power, and power’s no good if there’s nothing left of humanity for him to have power over.
Mohinder and Maya can die now, please. They’re both too stupid and boring to live.
I’d love to see Mohinder killed by simultaneous hails of bullets, swords, lightning bolts, and whatever assorted weapons each of the others possess, as they collectively realize that all he’s *ever * done is make all of their lives more difficult with his gullibility and ridiculously convoluted moral code.
I was thrilled to see half of the Blunder Twins go down last night, but dammit, when Sylar started moving toward Maya I kept thinking “For the love of god, if they’re gonna touch mouths, it better be because Sylar’s learned a new way to EAT BRAINS!!!”
I don’t care for Niki, but she’s a distant third. I *like * Monica, although I do remember wondering what the hell suddenly happened to all her mad fighting skills.
I think I’m the only person on the Internet who actually likes Mohinder. At least, I don’t dislike him. As for who I would want to leave the show, I second the vote for Monica’s stupid brother. Definately not Elle, she is way too hot. Maybe Bob. His usefulness in the overall story is waning.
Much as I hate the Maya character, I don’t think she’ll get it. I’m betting Adam/Kensei and possibly Nathan. (He hasn’t done much this season but grow hair.)
Considering the NBC promo-monkeys and their vague familiarity with the show they’re hyping, I’m counting on them not grasping what ‘hero’ means-and Ando buys it. He’s really run out of purpose since Hiro keeps ditching him for some time-boogying. Bye bye-maybe they’ll bury him in one of his nice new suits.
Sylar, restored to full power by Claire’s blood, kills Adam and saves us all from the plague. This much seems certain.
As for hero #2, possibilities include:
Sylar, killed by Adam and/or the virus
Nikki, saving Monica and Micah and succumbing to the virus
Maya, munched by Sylar
Niki should die from the virus (that she currently carries, that Mohinder has the cure too, but won’t take to her becuase he’ll try to rescue molly from Sylar) (where the fuck is mat, you know, the cop?)
Adam should die, well, because when you kill someone’s father, you must prepare. (And he truly has the evil intention this time, but of course, in the interest of great comic book villany, he’ll likely die in a way that allows him to return).
Top of the list has got to be Sylar. His I’m-thinking-such-nasty-things look is grating, and he’s just too ugly to look at. But they won’t kill him now because he’s not worth killing.
I’d love for Peter to bite the big one, because I don’t like Ventimiglia. Didn’t like him in “Gilmore Girls”, don’t like him now. But he’ll live.
Maya is too stupid to live. However, the writers seem to think she can be developed, so I assume she’ll live.
Niki is too bland, as are the rest of her personalities. I wouldn’t miss her at all. It’s not at all unlikely, IMO, that the writers will see things my way on this one.
Nathan’s as bland as Niki, and I can’t think of anything they can possibly do with him. He’ll probably make it, since they already went to the bother of saving him, but I can’t see why.
