Last week: Wow. Just, wow.
This week: I don’t know, but I have a feeling we may be in for some more Maya and Alejandro. God I hope not. Let’s watch!

Kinda has to have them. Damn it.
Second to last, right? M & A have to be in.
My prediction: Sylar will kill M & A within the first five minutes.
Okay, not a “prediction” per se. More like a heart-felt burning wish.
I dunno… if Sylar does kill Wendy and Marvin and eat their brains… I might just have to admit that the writers really were able to redeem his character, just a little bit. I mean, sure, he killed Peter twice and wanted to turn Claire into a pop-top Pez dispenser, but nobody who kills those two can be all bad. Right?
[Chandler voice]Could maya be any stupider?[/cv].
Jesus, Sylar might as well be walking around with “I’m evil” tatooed on his forehead.
Also, I may have missed this in earlier episodes, but what does the company want with the virus again?
Does Alejandro actually have a power, or is he just immune to Maya’s power?
Hee hee hee…Zan was defeated by an evil sponge…
He’s able to absorb her power & alleviate (or possibly even reverse, if he catches it soon enough) it’s effects on others.
I mean, was able. Hard to believe he didn’t see that coming … Evidently, his other power is being able to operate his own heart and lungs without a functioning brain.
He must be related to Mohinder.
So I’m not the only one who doesn’t like Maya and Alejandro eh? I’ve started to PVR it and watch it later because of them. That way I can skim it.
I assume Alejandro has a power because he is immune to Maya, but it has to be a little cooler than simply being immune - or one would think anyhow.
Looks like many of you are getting half your wishes with M&A. You have to admit it was really funny when Sylar turned killing his mother around. “He knows exactly how I feel!”
As Shanti Suresh was patient zero for a deadly virus specific to Heroes, so too is her brother Mohinder the victim of a bizarre new plague.
The Mohinder virus is non-lethal, but targets and destroys the areas of the brain associated with judging character. The victim is otherwise unimpaired intellectually and socially, but can no longer tell good intent from bad in other people, no matter how obvious.
Other known victims include Maya and Peter Patrelli.
Did they really just explain the concept of a secret identity to us? Was that for the international audience? Because I’m pretty sure the half dozen people in the US who don’t understand the whole Clark Kent thing don’t watch Heroes.
The NO plot is still stupid and melodramatic. And if Sylar finished off the other one, he’ll be the greatest hero of all. It’s interesting how boogeyman Sylar has been more a complication than the real threat in both seasons.
I’m hoping they don’t wuss out on going public with the superpowers. That would be an interesting direction to take the series and going public followed by a jump to bring them up to date for the third season would certainly let them kick it off with a bang…
It is now official. Maya is the stupidest character to ever grace a prime-time show.
Not to sound dense, but the show is coming back, right? I mean usually when a season is over it says Season Finale. This one just said Heroes Finale for the preview of next week.
Nay, for Monica’s wretched little brother yet lives.
The season was always scheduled to be broken into two halves, with a new show “Heroes Origins” in between. With the writers’ strike (and supposedly because of ratings issues with the first half-season) “Origins” was cancelled and the first half finale was retooled to serve as a season finale.
Might be a good thing that “Heroes Origins” was cancelled. Seems like they’d have a hard enough time thinking of new ideas for this show without adding another. Anyway thanks for the info.
Oh, I don’t know. Peter Petrelli is giving her a run for her money. How many people have to tell each of them that their hero is a murderer and an evil schemer?
If Peter electrocutes Hiro, I hope Sylar eats his brain (though that puts me in mind of the joke where you put your hand on someone’s head and say, “This is a brain sucker. What’s it doing? Starving to death.”)
