Does anyone remember where we left off? Oh right, Peter had a vision of apocolyptic something or other and collapsed in a twitchy heap on the steps of the sheriff’s department. Claire and the Haitian got acquainted. Zack got “inned” as heterosexual by NBC, Niki turned herself in for murder. Isaac painted Hiro fighting a big lizard. And Eden changed her mind for one she keeps on the outside of her skull.
Is this the Prison Break thread?
Oh, sorry.
Who would have guessed Riley’s friend from Buffy would be doing better than him in the acting world?
Thank you. I knew I recognized Ghost Dad but I couldn’t think from where.
“You flying man! PSSSSSSHH!”
“Hey, keep it down!”
“psssssshh.”
Heeeee hee hee hee hee! Oh man, I have missed this show.
Man, Hiro has watched way too much anime for his own good.
On the other hand, he DOES seem to be right about the sword…
“i’m gonna give it back.”
I hope this doesn’t turn into something where we need to go the hidden websites and call 1 800 numbers just to understand the show. I’ve heard that’s what happened with Lost. Little bonus extras are neat, but I don’t want to have to do homework to enjoy Heroes.
HAHA! The Nissan Versa returns!
Woo Hoo! Nissan Versa!
Agreed. Supplements are fun. Research, not so much.
I am so glad to see they came back with a bang.
Well, not literally. Not yet, anyway.
Thirded. When they had the little promo about “the coolest interactive experience EVERERERRRR!!!” I nearly threw a shoe at my television. I just want to watch the damn show. Is that so much to ask? I don’t want to have to go on the Internet and solve little puzzles and lurk on all the fan sites and watch the Today Show for cut scenes and find out when they are going to be playing “Heroes Moments” during commercials for other TV shows, goddammit. I want to be able to get the full story just from watching the show. Seriously, the new trend of having a multimedia online “experience” or whatever is pissing me right the hell off.
Okay, with that out of my system… Loved tonight’s episode, particularly Hiro’s comic relief moments. “FLYING MAN!!!” A lot of good character progression and not too much of angsty Mohinder, and I am a happy viewer. I’m kind of excited about the new invisible guy, too.
Heh. The site is registered to General Electric (parent company of NBC, also the proud owner of hornymanatee.com).
Did anyone happen to catch the “access code” that HRG wrote down for Mohinder? What happens if you enter it in that form?
BTW, Hiro facing the stuff dinosaur with the stolen sword case looked like a cop-out on the painting to me.
Man I missed this show. I’ve always watched 24, but man is it a crapfest compared to Heroes. I hope NBC kicks butt in the ratings tonight.
I’m loving the developments happening, especially with Claire and the Hatian dude. He’s quickly become the most intriuging character on the show.
Anyone catch the “omg special info!” thing during Deal Or No Deal? I didn’t bother tuning in, but I’m curious what was shown there. Probably should spoiler tag that info for the sensitive though.
Nevermind. I just reverse-engineered the Javascript code on the page. The code is something that MD5-hashes to “f90ad64d3e6fc85b784c2b11595c1sa0”, and it sets the current location to http://www.primatechpaper.com/jobs .
But that just redirects back to the main Primatech site. Maybe it’s not supposed to go live yet.
Interesting developments, even if they did play up Eccleston as if he were gonna be more major in the ep and then he wasn’t in any but the last few minutes. Or…wait, maybe he was invisible and in the whole show.
Niki begins to manifest superhuman strength separate from Jessica. Which maybe puts a bit of a damper on the whole “Niki absorbed Jessica” theory I put out there a few months back.
Add me to the growing clamor against the notion of treasure hunting through the show. I never did any of that nonsense with Lost and I haven’t done it thus far with Heroes. I haven’t even read most of the online comics and I’m kind of annoyed that the online stuff is considered canon.
