Has anyone asked Hogg and his behind the scenes supporters if they’ve stopped beating their wives?
If you no longer support such legislation, then good for you. Criticizing any company, or even any media person, is entirely protected by the First Amendment, whatever the motives.
Criticizing an organization has nothing to do with insecurity. You criticized Hogg and others – does that make you insecure? Feel free to criticize or ignore as you wish. Both are within your rights. And its within Hogg’s rights (and yours or any American’s) to call for a boycott of any media figure or company, for any reason he/you/they choose.
They’re pointing out that at least they don’t require their affiliates’ anchors to star in hostage videos.
“Fox News! Not the worst news network anymore!”
Fox News admits that they are really that bad by showing a graphic showing it is lowest in trust from a recent poll. Oops!
As one of the comments at that paper’s site put it: It wasn’t a mistake, it’s a Public Service Announcement!
Am I reading that right? Even Trump voters trust Fox News the least?
Yeah, I’m not really sure what the Trump column is supposed to be saying. That’s not surprising; it’s a Fox News graphic!
“Mistah Kurtz—he dead.”

The horror . . . the horror
Another wondrous, almost unbelievable data point on the shameless lying bias of Fox News appeared today with advance copies of Comey’s book now available to the media.
The legitimate media are of course widely covering what is the most damning exposé ever written about a sitting president. As CNN put it, in a synopsis that was similar to those echoed in media around the world, “[Comey] painted Trump as a relentless liar who is obsessively unethical, devoid of humanity and a slave to his ego, who is clueless about his job and unconcerned about a Russian assault on American democracy … His book is a parable about the threat from a brazen President who demands a warped concept of loyalty and has only disdain for the rule of law.”
Fox News seems to want their readers to think the book is about Hillary Clinton. The main heading on the Fox News website: “Ex-FBI boss drops mysterious hint about Loretta Lynch’s involvement in Hillary email probe” – with a big picture of Comey and Hillary – as if that was the main thing the book was about!
Even more amazing is the list of subheads – all of them leading to hysterical right-wing opinion pieces instead of factual reporting about the book:

[li]‘No bombshells’: Wallace says Comey’s book doesn’t ‘change the equation’ for Trump[/li][/ul]
Just an astounding level of bias and obfuscation, even to those of us who expect it from Fox News.
Chris Wallace? I can only imagine the energy savings if we hooked a turbine up to his dad’s coffin at this point.
Last night, Maddow played a montage of the last few days of Fox News hosts and contributors maintaining a relentless drumbeat of character assassination of Comey, Rosenstein, and the FBI in general. How on earth they can say “Fair and Balanced” without giggling hysterically is beyond me.
They’re Republicans; it’s what they do.
Also on Fox News, this Sunday: The Trial of James Comey, a “The Next Revolution” special.
Maybe they should try the Chris Matthews approach, invite intelligent and knowledgeable people on his show to listen to him talk.
Is that what they call the noise that comes out of his mouth?
It will be interesting to see how Faux News handles the fact that Sean Hannity was decrying the FBI raid on Michael Cohen without disclosing his conflict of interest!
I just glanced at the Faux news homepage. shiver They are well aware that Harry Anderson has passed away, but seem to have not yet heard about Hannity’s super huge newsday.
I see what they did there. Someone at Fox still has a sense of humor.
Well, they do have sage analysis by Napolitano,
“[This is] extremely dangerous for Michael Cohen. You never, ever get to question the person you’re going to indict under oath before the indictment. This may very well be a trap for him.”
He added that he believes the charges could be “a crime related to fraud.”
Fraud. Well. That is insightful.
Napolitano also added he believes Cohen has been surveilled by federal officials for months through cellphone conversations, text messages and his emails, as well as bank institutions related to business doings.
Dammit. That is how they treat criminal suspects. How dare they spy on a lawyer! Unfair!
