Is Fox News really all that bad?

I like the way the English do it: “Assisting the police in their inquiries is Mr. Ken Shabby…”

Shep Smith reported on it as soon as the news broke. It seemed to me that he was enjoying it and had trouble keeping a straight face. I think they no like each other. I hate Fox but I kind of like Shep.

Deep thinker that he is, Hannity has neatly trashed the efforts of Trumps lawyers by firmly denying he was Cohen’s client, thereby removing any claim of attorney-client privilege.

I looked at it last night. Nothing about the story, but something in the corner which seemed to be Hannity denying the story.
And something about how terrible a person Comey is, and lots of stories about bad things college students do. No wonder the mouth breathing Fox watchers think college is a waste of money - they only see bad stories about it on their favorite slime pit.

Fox News has issued a statement:

Well, glad that’s settled, then.

I don’t know how FOX can possibly address that one while still retaining Hannity in any capacity.

They’ve had Hannity reporting on Trump’s lawyer with no disclaimer concerning his close relationship!

For any news outlet of any repute this would be a totally unacceptable deviation from honest commentary.

Yes, it is skewed and editorialized in its presentation. With Trump in power, it is the equivalent of Russia’s state run media.

Tucker Carlson is masturbatin’ like a motherfuck.

Spoilers, damn it! We have standards.

What? He didn’t tell you how it ended.

Crap! He’s gone and broken the bow-tied trust fund dweeb masturbation rule! We’re DOOMED!

This is what the whole thread is about. Well, more specifically, this latest Hannity crock is one more example.

That’s a little unkind on RT.

No, no, Fox is kind of RT-farty.

That too, apparently.

Back a long time ago there was a story on CBS News on Samuel Mudd, the doctor convicted of treating John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Lincoln. The anchor was Roger Mudd - I think a great great grandson. Roger Mudd claimed he didn’t want to do the story because of the potential conflict.
Now that’s journalistic integrity!

Fox News is not state run media. The Trump administration is Fox News run government.

Related, but not directly descended. And Roger is 90, so it would be more like grandson or great-grandson. 1865 is not all that long ago.

that’s an important distinction, and much worse

“And now, you die, and we all move up in rank!”

I guess the panda porn really got his motor running.
