Is hotmail broken today? I can loon, browse between directories but cannot read any mail nor compose it?
I can logon. It is by pure coincidence that I can loon.
If it is, it’s fairly recent. I checked my e-mail at 11:30 PST, and everything worked fine.
Damn! In which case this is the weirdest bug – everything else works – all my local apps, the Straight Dope (hey, that’s a minor miracle in itself), every other web page I visit!
It’s kind of frustrating because I was about to tell the woman of my dreams how I felt about her 
Hmm! Okay, the smiley buttons are playing up too. I wonder if I have some java script doodad that’s failed.
Bah!
PS: running the virus checker (well-updated) as I type…

It seems that I may have inadvertently(!) update Internet Explorer, I say this because it showed a splash screen upon reboot.
I am also getting an (java?) object not found error on the Hotmail pages.
Someone recommend me a browser compatible with Win95 (I know, I’m a dinosaur).
