I see very few latest posts. In particular I was going to look at the latest Starship thread. When I search for it from Firefox history I find a post from Dr.Strangelove a half hour ago–but I don’t see that in the list of latest posts.
Do you have any muted categories? If you go to https://boards.straightdope.com/latest?state=muted and see anything there, that means those threads/categories ARE muted and won’t show up in your regular, unmuted “Latest” posts.
You can configure muting in your preferences, at https://boards.straightdope.com/u/your_username/preferences/tracking. For you that’d be https://boards.straightdope.com/u/PastTense/preferences/tracking
Otherwise, if you right click on this and open it in an Incognito/Private window (depending on your browser), it should show you all the latest posts without any account-specific filtering: https://boards.straightdope.com/latest (but you won’t be able reply from that window since you’re not logged in)
