Is it better for a car to go over a speed bump on one side or both?

Yes, a lot of people don’t seem to get that 2 mph is not the optimum speed to travel over all speed bumps. For many (most?) speed bumps, riding over them with a little speed allows the suspension to take the vertical motion and keeps the passenger cabin more level.

I lived in an apartment complex for 6 years for which I had to ride over 7 speedbumps to get into/out of. I have collectively wasted weeks of my life waiting for idiots to slowly creep over those things.
