Yeah, but those are all very clearly couples basking in each others’ glow. When I think of it with actual brothers and sisters, they’re basically ignoring each other.
My cousins used to sit on my lap all the time, though only one was an adult when it happened. And we’d just carry on a conversation like normal. I know that’s not the same position, but that’s the type of situation I’m picturing. And no one was drunk.
