Is it Disrespectful to Leave Dead Bodies for More than 18 Hours Lying in the Street?

My family member is dead, they are not unnecessarily suffering by their body being left at the scene.

But 18 hours?! How incompetent are the CSI/CSU people? And it has been noted, cops remove dead cops fairly quick, because they don’t like fellow offices being disrespected by lying in the open all night.

And what if the cops leave them there because they are the “wrong” kind of victims, and they’re practicing a bit of recreational “justice”?

In reality, the more likely reason that fallen officers are removed post haste is that the department decides what the incident narrative is, without the interfernce of no meddling forensicists.
