Yeah I know. But he was asking you about the military thing in the same fashion he had asked Ambivalid about his job when he questioned CCitizen about his sexual history. So I assumed it was him trying to be as ‘insulting’ with a seemingly random question as Ambivalid had been to him.
It’s perfectly ethical, within your ethos which apparently requires you to injure others for your health, but in my ethos it’s childish and your justification is absurd.

Which is not an insult, although it could be considered a rude question. I posited that he wasn’t getting laid at all, which he might consider an insult, but it was part of a response to his stupid idea, so I think he’s considering the insult to his idea to be the equivalent of insulting him.
Anyway, CC, feel free to insult me if it makes you happy. I think my apathy would deprive you of any pleasure you might derive from it.

Yeah, pretty much this. I have found that an insult is only effective if the person it is directed at believes it to be true at some level.
For instance, most people crave sex and may feel somewhat jealous of others who get it with ease, or just harbor a general feeling of inadequacy.
So basically CCitizen, we may not know, but we can probably take a guess. This is most likely to come off as an insult. However, I haven’t had sex for a little over two months. I feel your pain, brother.
