The smilies look too much like Tropical M&Ms for my taste, but other than that I think it’s pretty snazzy.

Hm, I’m not really noticing any difference in the look either and I refreshed my cache. Perhaps I’m just not that observant. I will be curious to see if my “charter member” title disappears after posting this…

I liked the new smilies initially, but now I’m having a colors-overdose. I like :D, :eek:, and :p. For the rest, I prefer the old ones.

To be honest, I dislike it. The smileys scream “PRIMARY SCHOOL!” to me.
Is it me, or has the look of the SDMB continued to change since this thread was established? Many of the icons look completely different as of this morning!
No, as others have mentioned in some of the numerous threads on this subject, the old images (smilies, icons, etc.) are stored in your browser cache, and until the cache is cleared out or refreshed, the old icons keep appearing.
Yeah, but I flushed it deliberately. Or I thought I did.
