Every time I click on a link, my computer freezes for a minute and the link never pops up. Is it just my computer? If it isn’t, why is this happening?
That is weird.
My first advice (always my first advice when people have problems here), make sure your caches are all cleaned out, your temporary internet files purged, etc.
You may have to go reboot; I use AOL as my primary means of accessing the board and sometimes it just gets fractious. Rebooting clears everything and I can access pages again.
Please try that and see if that doesn’t help your situation. If not, please come back and let’s investigate a little more.

Okay, I’ll try that. But let me add another thing. I just tried to look at someone’s profile and it did the same thing. No problem about the inconvenience. There isn’t one really. I don’t follow links from here unless it ties into the conversation. Thanks though.

Hypothesis: All links in threads placed there by posters are designed to open in a new window, and likewise for the “profile” links. Maybe your browser has some sort of problems with opening links in a new window?
