In this thread, Tuba came in (as the only respondant) and said she was closing the thread… OK, I agreed in general…
However, the thread does NOT show as being closed, and it does not show that anyone responded at all…
Weird!

Sounds to me like a cache problem. Your browser was, for some reason, showing you an older version of the page, from before Tuba posted to the thread and closed it. You aren’t, by any chance, using AOL, are you?
On your Internet Options, General, Temporary Internet Files Settings, you may be set to refresh automatically just the first time you view a page this session. That’s how I like things, since it’s usually a waste to reload pages every time you view them.
If you think something should be updated, just hit F5 or the refresh button at the top of the browser.
If you have a proxy server that you go through that caches, you sometimes have to “force” a reload of the SDMB to see new posts.
