That reminded me of my husband’s sister. She and her husband don’t watch news, they don’t read newspapers, they don’t pay any attention to anything political on the internet or anywhere else. My husband was talking to her and realized that she and her husband still believe that Saddam was at least partly responsible for 9/11! She and her husband still believe that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and that’s why we went to war! It’s bizarre to think someone in our own family is that uninformed. (well, my dad is too, but I can’t break through to him)
If you never read GD or come into the Pit (though you’re here now), how do you get your news? How did you find out about Saddam not having any weapons of mass destruction or not being part of 9/11? I’m just curious.

Sorry, I don’t think President Kerry will just let these things go, nor should he. The historical record demands answers. My most fervent hope is that, if he wins, he’ll appoint Vincent Bugliosi as Attorney General.

There will be a few of those sorts of threads, sure, but not the sheer number of Bush-hating threads. Remember, Kerry is the SDMB’s favorite son. Look at any Presidential poll thread and you’ll see the inherent truth in that.
Hell, I’m tempted to keep the threads going for 4 more years even if Kerry wins. Bush has done a lot of evil; we’ll need a lot of threads to cover it all. They’re still talking about Hitler, and how long ago was that?
