Is it possible to get......

an ear plug stuck inside your ear? I mean, really stuck so it won’t come out and you have to call 911?

I went to a clients factory today (very, very loud inside!)
Usually I wear ear phones in these cases, but I didn’t know it was going to be so loud so I didn’t bring them. They gave me those soft ear plugs (the kind that look like mini marshmellows) I rolled them up and crammed them in my ears. I crammed the left one in good, TOO good. When I left I couldn’t get the sumbitch out! (I clipped my fingernails this morning, that may have been a factor) I didn’t say anything because I felt stupid, but all the way back to my office I tried digging it out with no luck. So I stopped at home quick and my wife took it out with a tweezers, which was hard for her to do because she was laughing histerically . Anyway, are there any cases of people having any real medical problems with these things, or am I just the dope of the day. (be kind  )

I don’t think having an ear plug stuck in your ear is something you should call 911 about, though I would LMAO like your wife.

Unless there is a mad ear-plugger about, randomly accosting people, pinning them to the ground and shoving earplugs in.

Then again, with my eargasms, I’d probably like that.

What the heck is an “eargasm”?

pkbites, Look here

In response to your question, yes, people do end up having actual emergency room visits over these kinds of things. People come in here all the time with random things stuffed too far into some orafice (use imaginations…)

Although, I must say, things stuck in ears and noses tend to be mostly among small children!

I’m pretty sure it is possible.

I forget exactly who it was, but I remember hearing about a baseball radio broadcaster who thought he was losing his hearing in one ear. Turns out, upon visiting the doctor, that he had part of his earphone jack in that ear.

Eeww.
