Manhattan is always jumping around the GQ threads waving his power flag. Sometimes I think he just does it to show that he is actualy doing his job, but some threads that he’s decided to move are perfectly legit GQ posts. There is absolutely NO CONSISTENCY in what he does. What I hate most about his methods is that he often moves posts over to IMHO, when if you look long and hard, you can see MANY posts in GQ that could be moved. But does he move them? No. Why? Who knows.
Here is something you need to realize MadHunter. Manny has a life. He’s here when he can be, but Ed Zotti doesn’t chain the mods to computers, throwing them scraps a food once a week and watering them when he finally gets around to it. They all have jobs, families, and more important responsibilities. Manny volunteers (like the other mods) his time for the SDMB, to put up with dickweeds like you. He does his best to keep GQ running smoothly, and he does a damn fine job. So what if once in awhile he misses a thread that should be moved? He’s not perfect, and he’s not here 24/7. However when he does catch the threads that don’t belong there, he moves them. He keeps the posters in GQ in line. What more can you ask from a mod?
And the Pit is to rant. It’s not a place to be a jerk. So MadHunter and steeljaw, will you both please stop it? Look, I even said please.
I could set my watch by these complaints.
