My brother cannot open a checking account. I think it is because he wrote too many bad checks. He is trying to open a savings account but every one he had looked into require either a personal check or cashier’s check. Do any reputable banks allow you to open a savings account or buy a CD with a money order?
They should allow a money order. Of course, they will be happy to accept cold hard cash, as well.
