Is it safe to light a fart on fire?

My college roommate managed to set his jeans on fire (they were frayed, and I guess a couple of loose threads managed to ignite.)

I guess my farts had too much stuff in them…I never got blue…always bright orange.

well i actually did this last night. Mine also turned out orange, but i did it through my boxers. If i remember my grade 10 auto and chem classes, I think it turned orange because the Air/Methane mixture had too much air in it since it took time for the fart to get through my boxers. I assume if you do it with out any boxers and a really GOOD friend to hold the lighter without burning you it would turn blue because there is less air. Then agian, i passed chem with a 56 and my auto mark wasnt that much better. If im wrong, please correct my ignorance;)

Meh. I put a hole bigger than that in my girlfriend’s colon last weekend, and she’s doing just fine. Maybe even a little better, in fact.
