Hinduism neither condemns nor condones masturbation, and generally views sexual pleasure as one of the goals of life. Karmic burden is imparted by acts involving others, such as rape, abortion, and adultery. You can find endless discussion of this on Hindu websites by Googling for “masturbation” and “hinduism.”
