I was just watching an SNL re-run. It was the first time I ever saw Chris Kattan’s Mr. Peepers character. He looked exactly like Ben Stiller. Is this intentional, or am I crazy?

I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but I said the exact same thing when Zoolander came out. “He has the brains of Mr. Peepers and he looks like him, too.”
Upon further reflection, I realize that in a SNL promo I mistook Mr. Peepers for Ben Stiller! It was just a really short clip and said to myself “Oh, Ben Stiller must have been a recent host.”
No, Mr. Peepers is supposed to look like Wally Cox.
(I can’t believe I’m the first to point this out, I guess we old folks are slow on the boards.)
I like most of Katan’s other stuff, but I just don’t see what’s funny about jumping around a room spitting food all over the place.
