I think this is one of those things like not washing hands after peeing will cause illness- a common belief, but no actual proof that it has ever happened.

Frankly, I don’t care *what *they’re calling it, as long as they’re teaching the useful stuff. The reason I jumped to the defense of FAM and tried to draw a distiction is that so many of us were taught that Rhythym is useless and stupid that it’s become almost a mantra for FAMers: “Yes, it’s this technique called Fertility Awareness Management-no-it’s-not-Rhythm!” - otherwise people won’t listen, and discard a perfectly good, very accurate system out of hand by equating it to an old discredited system.
