He would make an excellent greeter at Walmart.
Here’s a resounding no – but it’s a highly biased site.
Here’s a more even-handed analysis which still, to these admittedly biased eyes, says it’s a Potemkin ranch.
I’ve tried, but the notion of a George W. Bush Policy Institute leaves me utterly flummoxed.
Wow, I’d never seen any serious details on the Crawford Compound. Calling it a “ranch” is just incredibly blatant Presidential marketing.
My family owns 221 acres near Limestone Lake (a few hours away from Crawford), and we’ve got about thirty head of cattle on it. You know what? We’ve never called it a “ranch”- it’s always just been “the farm”.
I’m more of a rancher than Shrub is- where’s my damn hat?
You know, so far, the only thing I like about Bush is that he really likes Cooper’s Barbecue, in Llano. It’s one of my favorite places, as well- I highly recommend the smoked sirloin.
Still beats his Poppy’s Houston hotel room.
I think he is irredeemable. I freely admit to being a lefty and a liberal, although I wouldn’t consider myself a rabid knee-jerk Bush-hater. But as far as I see it, the only thing he’s ever really gotten right was taking out Saddam Hussein. Unfortunately, he fucked that one up so bad that it’s now hard to see how that was a good thing. The best thing that could happen is that he could try to reverse some of the damage he and his cronies have inflicted. Work on the national debt, restore liberties taken in the Patriot Act, and listen to people other than Jesus about what to do in Iraq, for starters.
Damn I’m looking forward to 2009.
Most likely the winner will be the butt monkeys. Rev. Haggard will oversee the praying for it’s recovery.
Is Bush Preparing for Exile? Buys 98,842-acre farm In Paraguay
Exile or escape from nuclear fall-out should he go ahead with his nightmarish Iran attack?
There is a possibility that Bush’s Presidency will do some good, but in the exact opposite way from what he intended. I think Bush may, through his utter incompetence and stubbornness, cause a massive political realignment in this country. If two more years of Bush is what it takes to knock some sense into this country, then maybe his presidency will be worth it.
