How do you feel about spunky orphan children with mad hacker skilzzz? That, I think, will be your best litmus test before watching the film.

And what was wrong with #2? Maybe having the bad guy unable to climb stairs was lame, but how he died is one of the classic scenes in sci fi.

#1 had the bunch of maniacs, their leader, and the leader’s employer. #2 seems way too mild in comparison, like someone decided to make it more kid-friendly but went overboard.

Yeah, I was going to say. Not to mention the little league team robbing the electronics store, the gang dissecting someone live and Robocop literally smashing the bad guy’s brain on the pavement.

Yep, robocop 1 set a bar for movie violence that both 2 and 3 couldn’t match.

I think it’s 20 minutes shorter when shown on tv.
