Google “Santorum divorce” and get a bunch of hits. They all seem to reference the same source which looks just a teeny bit humor-laden to me.
The source seems to be The Daily Currant, and it is a parody site like the Onion.
Just a riff on the Santorum declaration that gay marriage would be the end of the regular ones.

And remember guys, it is not impossible to check if information is good or bad. Always ask the bloggers “what’s your source?”
“Why the media screw up science Part 1: Sources” By science writer Peter Hadfield AKA potholer54.
While that is related to bad internet sources for science information, the advice is valid for many other subjects, in this case someone did indeed report the source.
The Daily Currant is one of the more consistent sources of these things, since it’s not quite well-known enough to be recognized as a satirical site like the Onion if you’re just casually reading something in a friend’s Facebook feed*. I can’t even count the number of times a DC story has shown up on my Facebook as a genuine story. For a while, I was actually watching the Currant’s own Facebook feed just to point and laugh at the creduloids who can’t be bothered to actually do some factchecking when a story seems not QUITE right.
*Also, because the Currant just isn’t funny like the Onion…without even a hipster-ironic punchline, the stories read as sincere.
Did not know about the Daily Currant. Now my ignorance has been fought. Thanks!
Heh heh “creduloids” Gotta remember that. heh ![]()
