Is sex a need?

This was undoubtedly true thousands of years ago, but I hardly think underpopulation is a problem today. It’s no longer in the best interest of our species to continue reproducing as if our species’ survival depended on it.

And I don’t think anyone could convince me that I have harmed humanity by not reproducing. But look at some of the people who ***are ***reproducing, and the kind of lives their kids are growing into. That’s good for the species?

That was good!

Does anyone else notice that after childbearing years are over the urge lessens or is it just me? I don’t know if it lessens for men at all but I definately noticed a definate drop off after 45. Like the bodys way of saying your work having children and raising them is done. Go have a Werthers and take a nap on the porch. :cool:

Of course our species’ survival depends on us reproducing… I’m baffled as to how one could think otherwise. We don’t need to reproduce at the same rate that we have at some points in the past, but lo and behold, we don’t reproduce at that same rate. We do, however, need to reproduce at least some.

Government sex…::shudder::

Agreed, and what’s more, I don’t think anyone could convince *me *that you’ve harmed humanity by not reproducing, either. :stuck_out_tongue:
