I hate to hijack this thread by bringing it back to the OP, but… here goes. My apologies.
How was it figured out that NightRabbit was nongoog? I mean, was it the same IP address, or was it because of similarities in topics they posted about, or what? A search reveals that supergoose made a connection on 3/9/08, but then nothing came of it. Now that I’m reading supergoose’s post, I can see where the similarities were, but it never would have occurred to me to make that connection.
I guess I’m wondering how such things come to light.
Let’s just hope the finished structures in never engulfedin fire ants though.
I remember that. When the connection was brought up it made so much sense to me, their styles of posting were so similar and several details about their life were the same (20-something female in NYC who was dating much older boss who bought her gifts, both of them always started stupid Pit threads that would turn back on them, etc.) IIRC she denied the accusation, saying she had never heard of nongoog, so I’m curious how it was proven they were the same.
