I’ve had it with these motherf#ckin dongs on these motherf#ckin drones!
I suspect an entire new category of porn has been born. We’re gonna need skilled drone operators and soft bladed drones.
I happened to see this in the local news today. I know nothing about the candidates, and less than that about the race.
But I do know that I snorted coffee up my nose, and all over my keyboard when I read that someone got “dong-coptered.”

Where was this when the Bundys were holed up in that National Wildlife Refuge? 
This being Texas, I’m surprised that no one has yet attached Truck Nuts to a drone and flown it into a meeting.
The gold-plated ones would be really eye-catching.

Doesn’t look to me like he does anything to Gonzales; some very obviously off-duty cop looking guy grabs the dong and yanks the drone out of the air, a shaggy looking guy who I assume is Dreyer starts scuffling with him over the dong & drone, and then some guy sort of gets between the camera and the scuffle, and when we can see again, we just see Dreyer under a pile of cops/security people.
Battery and resisting arrest seem a bit strong; he’s definitely immature, but I don’t think wanting some off duty cop not to mangle your drone is necessarily battery or resisting arrest.
I believe you mean “monkey-fighting dongs on these Monday-to-Friday drones.”

In the complaint, Dreyer said he didn’t mean to hit the sheriff, just swing his fists.
As the old saying goes, your right to swing your fist ends at my nose. If he hit anyone, they had a pretext for arrest. As they were hauling Dreyer away, someone (I think Dryer) shouts “You’re a pedophile!” If he can’t back that up, he’s opened himself up to a slander lawsuit.
Shhh, don’t give them ideas.

IANAL, but this would be enough for a battery charge.
‘Humorosity’ aside, this is kind of concerning for me; this is just a baby step to more dangerous actions at larger, more prominent events. Having worked some federal-level events in the past, there are countermeasures in place to prevent drones from getting into/acting around the venue, but those resources aren’t readily available at the municipal level. There’s not much preventing another Dreyer from physically flying his drone into local candidates to injure them.
Potentially scary shit, in my eyes.
