I mean, in principle he might not be a climate change denier - he could be an anti-Semite who plans to adopt sensible environmental policy.

Y’know, I would equate that presidential commission with the creation of the Attorney General’s Commission on Pornography during the 1980s and stacking the commission with experts like

[li]Father Bruce Ritter, a Franciscan Friar and [/li]
[li]Alan Sears, author and founder of a Christian right legal advocacy group[/li][/ul]

Critics of the report also noted that 1) no data was collected, no research was conducted 2) it directly contradicts the results of the 1970 Nixon/Johnson report which not only included data and research but recommended loosening restrictions.

But, then again, this is a commission created by a president who wants to Make America Great Again and includes the Reagan years as one of those great times. So maybe he’s trying to emulate the Gipper with another stacked commission. As such, this is just not a surprising development.
