Sarah Palin might be a good choice, she is a reasonably good speaker from a TelePrompTer and very good -perhaps a little too good -at staying on message. But she is too interested in raising money for Sarah Palin these days, rather than the Republican Party. Maybe the Party could hire her to work on commission.
Her only value in my opinion is proving the point that at one time Dick Cheney was capable of having an erection.
Back to Steele, I find it hard to believe he makes that big of a difference. I don’t believe I have ever cast a vote with the slightest thought of who the party chairs were and I sincerely doubt that anyone has. To the extent that he can influence party donations for better or worse, that’s about the size of his impact. True, he’s a buffoon and mildly amusing but I think we overestimate the significance of party chairs.
