Is there a certificate, certification, or credential in teaching computer usage skills?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an A+ computer technician certification (which I know is worth little more than the paper it is printed on at most companies), and ten years of experience as a software developer.

One of the things that I’ve wanted to do for a while is teach basic computer usage skills in some sort of charitable and/or basic educational venue. E.g. teaching children how to use a mouse to click around and write their first word processor document, teaching newly-arrived refugees from the third world what email is and how you can send one, or teaching ex-cons who haven’t touched a computer since going to prison in 1985 how to do online banking and apply for jobs online.

In other words, this is about teaching basic computer usage, not teaching hardcore computer science theory (Turing!), advanced help desk work, or professional graphic design. It could include basic “help desk” stuff like how to check if the computer is plugged in, whether or not there are any operating system updates, and how to run a virus scanner, but wouldn’t include how to use a multimeter, how to solder a port, use a network sniffer, or edit the Windows registry to do neat and weird stuff.

Is there any sort of certificate, certification, or other kind of credential I can earn that can get me a foothold in that field? Ideally, I’d want something that not only shows that I know basic computer stuff, but that I know the basics of teaching it. A+, MCSE, CCNA, or other basic IT “certs” don’t really seem to be it, because those are about using the technology in a professional environment.
