Is there a complete Nasdaq index fund that I can buy?

Well, looks like the hamsters got this one. I don’t know if this will answer the question you were going to ask, because it’s not a “complete” fund of the Nasdaq. The Nasdaq 100 index fund is traded on the American Stock Exchange, and is known as an exchange traded fund. Its symbol is QQQ. It’s only made up of 100 companies traded on the Nasdaq. I would imagine that some company (Vanguard? Schwab? Merrill Lynch?) offers a complete Nasdaq fund, just look around.

D’oh! Damn hampsters!

To repeat:

I am looking for a Nasdaq index fund other than the QQQ’s. I don’t want to just buy 100 stocks, I want to buy every stock on the Nasdaq exchange. Basically the equivilent of the Wilshire 5000.

Also, I need it to be no load, and with a one or two thousand dollar minimum investment.

I have been looking for a while now and I really just can’t find one! I would think it would be easy.

I have come across COMPX, which is a nasdaq composite, but isn’t actually traded, it is just an index.
